My journey began with a strong spirit of self-initiative. As an immigrant from Guatemala, the path to formal education presented financial challenges. I took it upon myself to master the fundamentals of retouching and photography. This dedication soon led to an internship at a fast-paced fashion studio in New York City, where I refined the skill set that guides my work today.

This foundation in retouching naturally evolved into a passion for photography and a boundless desire to learn. Over time, I have supported numerous studios and sets across the city, taking on various technical roles such as Digital Technician, Gaffer, Retoucher, and Photographer.

I ultimately chose to shift my focus away from the fashion industry. Today, I concentrate my efforts on product photography, with a specific passion for jewelry.

Jewelry is arguably the most technical product to photograph and retouch, and it is precisely this challenge that attracts me. I thrive on mastering its specific complexities, including deep focus stacking and meticulously preserving the integrity of metal highlights and facets.

Having built a solid portfolio over the years, I leverage my technical foundation to ensure flawless color accuracy and perfect material rendering on every piece, allowing me to tackle any new visual challenge with confidence.
